The Distributive Property (at the Board)
After correcting the practice test, we reviewed several different types of problems students missed. Students were instructed to keep their homework, so they could study for tomorrow's test.
Each student was offered an "emergency" blue lunch pass to use if needed. Students in other algebra classes always have the option to request a lunch pass, as they have algebra class before lunch. To make things fair for students in the sixth period class, I distributed passes to all present. When used, students will be allowed to request a replacement pass to use for the next "emergency".
We reviewed the distributive property by playing "At the Board". The green team won this friendly competition.
Tonight's Homework: Study for the concept test. Complete the worksheet you received in class, and do problems 79 and 81 on page 105.
