Applying Math to Real Life Situations

Students worked in groups today to solve a variety of problems related to nutritional values of eating a particular type of breakfast (cereal). Students were encouraged to work efficiently in their groups, so as to maximize the amount of work that was completed. The directions asked students to clearly show and label work.

Tonight's Homework: Finish the "Good Morning!" handout if you did not do so in class. Students in period 2 should begin work on the Concept 2 practice test, and students in period 6 should finish the practice test. The practice test will be due on Friday, October 29th for period 6 students and on Monday, November 1st for period 2 students.
