Product of Powers and Power of Powers

We discovered how to simplify expressions using powers by expanding the expressions and then rewriting the answers. This led us to two simple rules: The Product of Powers rule states that if powers being multiplied together have the same base, you can add the exponents. The Power of Powers rule states that when raising a power to a power, you multiply the exponents.
