Modeling Combining Like Terms in Pictures and With Algebra Tiles

Today, we took some time to understand how algebra tiles can help us understand how to combine like terms. We also learned how to use a variety of methods to help us combine like terms correctly. Students had about 20 minutes to work on homework during class today.

Tonight's Homework: Complete the white worksheet you received in class. In addition, complete problems 1-6 on pages 68 and 69 of the CME book.
