Story Problems and the Distributive Problem

We reviewed how to solve word problems in a logical and sequential manner today. The steps include:
1.) Read the problem.
2.) Write a formula to help you solve the problem.
3.) Substitute known values into the formula.
4.) Simplify and/or solve the problem.
5.) Label your answer with units.
6.) Check your answer to see that it makes sense.
